CZ Vaccines (CZV) is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated exclusively to the development and manufacture of veterinary products and medicines. Production facilities, biotechnology laboratories, offices and warehouses are located in Porriño, North-West of Spain, on a 43,000 m2 site with a built-up area of 10,100 m2.
CZV is authorized for the manufacture of veterinary products, and all products are manufactured according to GMP standards and other international standards.
CZV is also acting as a contract manufactured for third parties, including Brucella vaccines.
CZV is a leader in the manufacturing of Brucella vaccines, thus being the largest European manufacturer of brucellosis vaccines.
CZV manufactures the full range of OIE recommended Brucella vaccines, and CZV collaborates with the Official Veterinary Services of numerous countries, supplying its vaccines and helping to control the disease.
Being a leader in the prevention of animal brucellosis, for CZV it is essential to play an important role for bringing new solutions to the market. Brucella vaccines are an important part of CZV’s range and also strategic products for tackling such a zoonotic diseases.
CZ Vaccines is cooperating with two Spanish research groups, with a vast experience in brucellosis.
Research teams from the University of Navarra (Department of Microbiology) and the Agrifood Research and Technology Centre of Aragón (CITA), are involved in this project.
Our project is focused on the development of a new attenuated live vaccine for improving safety and thermostability. We have identified some mutants that could improve safety while keeping same level of protection.
CZV is willing to partner with other companies to offer contract manufacturing services according to GMP and other international standards for veterinary products including Brucella vaccines
